ARTWORK. I need it. Thank you for answering my prayers! I'm always in a little bit of a rut when I go to to make a preview image and realize I've yet to add any decent art to my game. And you get a bonus for making nature recolors! :D

When I started my Victorian hood, I noticed that was the biggest gap in decorating. I was so frustrated with such a little selection. I highly recommend http://vintageprintable.com/wordpress/ if you want to find similar nature imagery. Their site is a little wonky, but just give it a chance. It's worth it!

I have TONS of meshes that would make for good Victorian art frames, but yeah, a huge lack of artwork. I just did some recolors of Cassadre's June Bazaar frames, but since you're doing a MM game you might not like the real photos I used. :P

Thanks for that link! I really love the nature stuff for mah wizurdz and supressed mycologists.Also, have you picked a specific decade for your game? I'm working on some recolors for cleaning products, but I'm having a hard time finding labels and stuff for boxes and other packages.

Actually, I have switched it from Maxis Match to more realistic now. :D

I wanted to make portraits too, so I decided it would be more fun to have realistic looking characters for portraits. I would love if you shared the ones you made. I actually spotted them in your preview picture for the bed sheets and was going to ask about them. Hehe!

I haven't picked a specific period, but I gravitate more towards the late 1800's and nearing the year 1910. I break a lot of rules I'm sure...Lately the biggest has been allowing art nouveau into my game. I can't help it...It's SO PRETTY. Especially with the monthly theme at GOS. The jewelry is blowing me away.

I'm going to release them with some other mesh recolors! I want to make a set for a photographer, but I haven't started reading about the Victorian way of doing things yet. I tend to break rules too, but if I can find some good resources I'll at least try to get it 80% right.

I was going to go with the 1850's, but then realized how much I really like bustles. Plus, the 1870's are just late enough to throw in some Art Nouveau, because Arts and Crafts is said to have influenced the movement a lot! So, technically, you can still cheat! I'm tempted to make more Jonesi recolors for the theme this month. xD

I literally just decided to change it a a day or so ago. XD Gathering content has been a drag. I hate having to re-download skins, hair, and everything. It's exhausting.

The arts and crafts period is my favorite. Such pretty wallpaper. *drooling* I'm desperately trying to think of something to contribute to the monthly theme, but I keep drawing a blank.

Yeah, I researched a bit yesterday and found some pretty plates. I might have another contribution soon, but I'm not sure.
